Project Sittingbourne, Bourne Place Car Park, United Kingdom

317 parking bays

317 parking bays

The new multi-storey car park in Sittinbourne, Bourne Place, officially opened to the public in September 2019 and is part of the town’s £57 million regeneration works. The car park provides 317 parking bays over 5 levels and the 6-meter-wide ramps provide easy access from the ground floor to the top deck. Due to its colourful design – every level brightly reflects its individual surface colour – it has a warm and welcoming ambience. Further, there is extensive CCTV coverage throughout the building to enhance the security of its visitors.

The MSCP provides 4 parking bays for electric vehicles, 4 parent & child parking bays, 10 motorcycle spaces & 21 disabled parking bays; and there are 2 lifts in the main stair core to ease access to all floors.

Currently, the opening hours are 8.00 am to 7.00 pm, seven days a week, but it is planned that these are extended to 24 hours a day once the town regeneration works are completed. The MSCP has a  pay-by-foot system, which can be updated to a ticketless system when required.
