Project Watford Riverwell, UK

1455 parking bays

Providing access to Watford General Hospital via a pedestrian bridge, direct access to the Watford FC Vicarage Road Stadium, as well as various exits to the surrounding area, Watford Riverwell MSCP has become an invaluable link within the overall Watford Riverwell development project.

The facility combines our vision of MSCPs as mobility hubs with our aspiration to create greener and more sustainable buildings. It offers amenities and disabled toilets for the public, flexible space to accommodate coffee shops, retails units or other businesses on the ground floor and has a parking office with kitchenette and welfare facilities.

The MSCP has six levels, providing 1,455 spaces, and four staircores, with four lifts in the main core. It currently has 138 EV points, with the infrastructure already in place to offer more should they be required. And has been installed with a highly sophisticated parking management system.

The full power for the building is provided by 1248 PV panels on the roof. It has a state-of-the-art HUBER LED lighting system. Whilst both the CCTV system and fire alarm system are linked to the hospital, the fire alarm is also linked to the stadium.

The intricate design of the façade allows the cladding to play with perspective and shadow, giving the building a stunning and distinctive external look.
